♦What is the difference between pole tents and frame tents? 

• Pole tents are supported by center poles within the tent as well as ropes and stakes placed around the perimeter.  These tents can cover a large amount of area at a reasonable cost.

• Frame tents consist of a tent top stretched over a metal frame an do not require the use of center poles. While we do use straps and stakes to anchor them down in case of winds they are self-standing.  Frame tents are the best choice for formal functions such as weddings and receptions or for festival as they allow for maximum useable space.
